Computer Problems?

This picture of electrical lines in India was sent via e-mail. And you wonder why when you call to get help with your computer or your cell phones you can't get help? LOL I just thought this was way too funny not to post.
I was listening to 103.5 this morning while I was roller blading at 6:00am and one of the radio hosts was telling a story about his daughter graduating and needing a lap top for grad school, so instead of a car, he bought her a nice Dell laptop. Well, they had to call to get stuff set up and he wound up talking to some person in India. Now this radio guy is pretty good with computers and he knew what he needed and he just needed someone to listen to him. Well, his call went to the call center in India and Rahn the call center help guy went through the script that he has to use when the calls come in. The announcer was so angry he hung up. He then called again and asked to talk to someone in Texas. He told the guy at the call center to turn off his computer screen and just listen to him. Within 15 minutes the problem was solved. But when I saw this picture it made me think of that phone call. Just too funny.

Playing Hard

Eden and her Uncle Adam
Playing with Uncle Adam just tuckers me out!

Eden is glad her Uncle Adam is home. She absolutely adores him. She follows him around the house and just smiles so big at him. Adam is so good with little kids. Every kid I know just falls in love with him. His personality and gentleness just makes kids want to be with him. What fun it is to watch the two of them together. It's so funny because when Adam was little he would scrunch up his nose and snort/make breathing noises. Well now Eden does the same thing and you should see the two of them together doing it. What a riot.
Aaron and his girlfriend Kelly
Awe, the newleyweds Travis & Ashley
Adam & Jullian playing Spades on the computer I had to really bug them to get this picture.
Eden playing with her daddy

We all got together on Saturday to celebrate yet again Ashley's birthday. We had beef and chicken enchilada's, rice, beans, cake and tons of fun. We ate and then went out and played whiffle ball in the back yard. Eden played on her slide and got really dirty and sweaty. Aaron, Kelly, Adam, Ashley, Travis, Jullian, Eden, Grandma, Dean and I were all here. I think I'm birthday'd out. I don't think we have another one until August. Whew, I'm glad. It's a lot of hard work and a lot of cooking on my part. It was great to have everyone here though. I notice though that I'm equally glad when they all go home because I'm whipped. My age is starting to show. But it also could be that I get up at 5:30 everyday so I'm tired by 8 pm. Oh well, good fun.

FOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adam practicing his golf swing in the backyard
Don't the boys play nice together? Practicing their swings in the backyard.

Adam decided he couldn't take it up in Indiana for the entire summer so he came home last Thursday. I have to tell you the boys are happy to be back together again. They've gone to the Devil Ray's game, golfing, swimming, watching Nascar and Ultimate fighting together. Although the wrestling is getting a lot more intense now that they are older. I don't know if my furniture will make it through the summer. LOL Glad to have my baby home. (I only come up to his adams apple now. ) He's grown so darn tall either that or I'm really shrinking with age. I prefer the latter.

She's back!!!

Grandma's girl is back to normal.
Having fun at mommy's birthday
I like this candle!

Well, our princess is back to normal. We sure are glad. We missed her fun, laughing eyes. Her mischivious grin and all of the hugs and kisses we get. Thank you all for your prayers for our girlies. God heard them and helped them to get over this nasty virus. Now Travis has it. YUCK!!!

Happy 22 Birthday Ashley

Lighting the 22 candles on her homemade carrot cake. Her favorite.
She'll kill me for putting this pic on. But see the big circles under her eyes? She lost 18 lbs last week. Not a healthy girl.
My babies all grown up.
Ahhh... old age makes you out of breath and can't blow all them candles out. I think being sick doesn't help either.

Our doodle is all grown up. She is a big 22 now. I don't know how happy her birthday was do to illness. But we will do another birthday party for her next week when Jullian can be there and Adam will be home too. So, I guess we're the partying LaFollette's/Jennings. : ) She was a twin in the womb. But we got very blessed and got Ashley. She is our miricle daughter and we couldn't love her any more than we already do. She has always kept us laughing and in wonderment at her accomplishments. Any time she sets out to do something she completes it BIG. We're proud of the beautiful woman she has become. And we pray that God will continue to give her the loving, kind, giving spirit that she has. She has a huge heart. We love you Doodle Bug!

Not Malaria

Well, after waiting four days for the blood work to come back in, we find out it's not malaria. Whew!!! That's good. But they still want Ashley to stay home from work until the figure out what it is. She still has blisters all the way down her throat. Her gums are bleeding and going over her teeth. She has lost 12 lbs. And the anibiotics they gave her didn't work. So they gave her a shot today of a different antibiotic. Diareah, feaver, chills. What is it? They want to take a fecal sample and more blood work. At this point I'm a little worried. This is absolutely crazy.
Please pray for Travis and Ashley. Little Eden too. And pray that the doctors figure out what this is.
