Dean

Just wanted to update everyone on Dean. He went back to the hemotologist today and his B-12 level was back up and the hemoglobbin looked great. Yeah!!! Thank you all for your prayers. He'll go back in in three months for another check-up.

Little man getting buckled up to go to his doctor appointment today. 5 days old.
Ashley snapped this one because he was snoozing with his mouth WIDE open.

What a peaceful little man. The red mark on the eye is because Eden tried putting one of her necklaces on him so he got scratched.

Oma getting to meet Layton for the first time.

We snapped this on Sunday. His eyes look very blue in this pic. Time will tell but we have our fingers crossed.
Layton had to go to his first doctors appointment today because he was a little jaundiced when he left the hospital on Sunday. He had lost 5 oz. so he's now 7lbs. 4 oz. but he gained 2". His jaundice is gone so we're happy for the little man.

Working on Ashley's Mother'd Day Present

Eden made her mama a stepping stone for mothers day. We wrote "I Love Mama, Eden 2009"
We decided to make Ashley a stepping stone for Mother's Day. So we had to strip Eden down to her diaper so that she could put the cut pieces of glass into the cement. She was having a lot of fun.

She would drop a piece and then be upset because it didn't go into the right color petal. So she would try and dig it out with her fingers. I was laughing so hard.
So on Mother's Day we took the present to Ashley along with a card that Eden made. She put a sticker of "Belle" and a Sticker of "Cinderella" on the front. She says that they are mama and Eden. And then we copied these pictures and put them on the inside so that her mom would have proof that Eden actually did make the present.
So Ashley opened her gift and the first thing she said was did she really make this and I told her to open her card. She was so thrilled with it.

10 toes

2 very pleased grandparents

Proud Papa

Holding my grandson for the first time. What a little peanut.

My baby girl did such an amazing job. Words can't express how proud I am of her. She had a horrible week and look at her reward. Precious!!

Dean's baby girl had her baby boy. He teared up. : )

Big Sister Eden and Layton

Big Sister Eden Rae and her little brother "Cobe" as she calls him. lol
"Hi Cobe" I love you.

Getting to see Cove for the first time.

Giving Cove a kiss

She kept wanting to touch his head. It could be a really interesting week next week trying to teach her what's ok and what's not.
When I got her home tonight she kept asking for mommy, daddy and Cove. So when I was rocking her to sleep she kept saying " I want my Cobe" . What a big girl.

Layton Cove Jennings

Ahhh... seeing Layton for the first time 3:35pm May 8, 2009
Tears of Joy

Nana Sherrie Jennings, Travis' mom. She came in at 11:15 and said "I'm ready, Let's have a baby".

Yeah!!! Dialated to a 10 and she can finally feel the contractions so it's now time to PUSH!!! 25 minutes later, and we had Layton Cove.
In the middle of a bad contraction.

Owwwww, I think I can wait until I'm at a six, but right now I'm having second thoughts about it. I might want the drugs NOW

Resting.

Talking to my best friend Megan on the phone inbetween contractions. They were actually talking about when the Idol tour will be here in Tampa and how much time they'll get to see each other. LOL

BABY WATCH!!

Ashley just called and said because she was vomiting all night, and because her urine test came back with way too much protein they are going to begin inducing her. So I'm on the way to the hospital to help with the delivery of Layton Cove.
We will keep you posted as we hear the news. Dean will be updating as we get closer.

Hot Day in Sunny Florida

She loves wearing Adam's Hat (Look at those chunky thighs)

Having some fun in the pool

She does have a face, it's just hard to capture it before she's doing the next thing.

Loves the pool, hates the sprinkler.
We bought her a sprinkler little guy that wiggles his arms and antenae. Well she wanted to hug it in the car. She loved it so much she had to hold it all the way home. Well, I got her in her swimsuit, slathered her with sunscreen and turned on the sprinkler. She scream bloody murder. She was not happy camper. She would much rather be in her wading pool.
