Ahhh... Dinner with Football Players

Mary's Chicken wings and Fries
Chris Shaw, Bryant, John and Adam eating dinner
The boys spent the day at the beach and came home looking like lobsters

Adam and Bryant eating some wings.
10 lbs of chicken wings, 5 lbs of french fries, fry sauce and 2 cases of soda later, dinner was finished.
Breakfast consisted of 48 pancakes, 24 sausage links and 15 scrambled eggs, juice and milk.
Last night, 2 family sized yellow rice, 2 pork loins for shredded pork, 4 cans of black beans and 2 loaves of cuban bread.
I think the boys are being well fed. As for me, I may not cook again until.... tomorrow morning when we do Mary's special french toast and bacon. I guess I'm feeding growing boys.

Enjoying the Florida Sunshine and Her new Swing

She climbed up all by herself Sooooooo Big!!!

Almost there

She figured out how to climb it the first day.

Doesn't she look happy. What a great buy with our tax money. Thank you God!!
"Swing, papa, swing" She also sings "5,4,3 2 1 Blastoff"

"Giggling Happy" She is just kicking her little legs because she's swinging

So happy Grandma came home from work and she can go out to "swing and Slide"

Her new flower garden in her playhouse. Grandma and Grandpa surprised the little one this week and added astro turf and a flower garden for her playhouse area. And yes she is in a fenced in area. But she likes it that way.

I think the finished product turned out great. Dean had his doubts, but when all was said and done he was pretty thrilled. He couldn't wait for Eden to come on Monday so he could take her out. I had to scold him because it was too cold and windy for her to be outside. LOL

The Football Team Cometh

John and Adam are roommates and they are spending their Spring Break here.
Adam and Chris Shaw our Center, and one of Adam's buddies.
They take turns driving each other to the hospital. LOL

Adam and three friends will desend upon our house next Friday.
Adam is sending me a detailed grocery list. LOL

Yep, can you say It shall be an adventure feeding these four.
And Adam was able to talk his friend Bryant into coming too. So we're thrilled they are all coming down. I hope it's nice weather and that they have a great time.

#70 Chris Shaw and his dad. They take great care of Adam. They took him to the hospital last year when he broke his ribs. And Adam took Chris to the hospital when he had an apendix attack. He stayed in the hospital room with him all night until his parents could get there.
Looking forward to a great week. I'll keep you posted. : )

We're Back From Laurie!!

Laurie singing "We are the Dinosaurs"
We were singing a song and jumping and flying. She loved it.

See those sick eyes? She was going down hill fast.

The Laurie Berkner Band in concert

Walking with Mommy and Papa to see Laurie

Laurie Berkner, Suzi Lambert and Adam ? Just coming out on stage

Poor sickie Eden, not sure what to think of all the people

Eden saying " Cheese Please" for the camera

Handing her ticket to her mama

Driving to the Laurie Berkner concert in Clearwater

Eden had an ok time. It was terribly confusing for her when there were so many children. She is never around kids and so having 500 of them just was overwhelming for her. She basically sat on either papa's or my lap. She liked the music and she liked being with us. She is used to having Laurie on her tv and all to herself and there is always a lot of room for her to dance, so being confined in concert seating, what a little frustrating for the wee one. We're glad we took her but I'm sorry she wasn't feeling well. I hope she will look back at the pictures one day and see how much her maama and papa love her.

Going to see Laurie Berkner Today!

We are very excited. We get to see Laurie Berkner today. For those of you that don't know it, Laurie is Eden's favorite singer. She watches her on Noggin on the Jack's Big Music Show and she loves Laurie. She has four of her CD's and we listen all the time and we have her one and only DVD and she watches it everyday at 3:00 pm with Papa. So today at 2:00 is Eden's first concert and I can't wait until she gets there. I'll of course be taking lots and lots of pictures. I hope she is feeling better. She's been sick all week and she has nasty sores in her throat. So I'm hoping for a pain free, sick free afternoon with my baby girl.
Check back later for some great pics of Eden dancing.
And Laurie's website is LaurieBerkner.com and you can check her stuff out. She's amazing!!!

Poor Baby

My poor little Eden is sick with a virus. She has a temperature of 103.4 and she is throwing up and has the nasty diapers. The doctor said that she will be down for three days at the least. I wish I had a cord to download the picture Ashley sent me of my baby in the car coming home. She looked so stinkin' pitiful. If you knew Eden you'd know she was sick because all she wants to do is lay down on the bed with her mama. My little Eden doesn't lay down unless you fight with her because it's nap time. She threw up on her mama and she said " I sorry mama". It was just a sad day for us to see our pookie pie not so perky. I'm praying my little one will be back to normal by Sunday for our special date to see the Laurie Berkner Band.

20 months, and oh so BIG.

It was a beautiful day in Riverview. 71 degrees, no humidity and my girl was having fun chasing bubbles.
Here she is in her new play house that she got for Christmas. It's finally nice enough outside that she can play in it.

Yep, you got it. Her play house is in our old dog run. No we never had a dog in it. It ran away. But Eden loves to play inside the gate and so we got rid of the dog house and when we bought her playhouse we put it in there. It's still a work in progress. We're going to plant some grass and lay a little stone path up to her door and we're even going to plant her own little flower garden that she can water and take care of.
She was posing and saying cheese. I thought she looked cute in her hippy dress and her pigtails. Hard to believe she is almost 20 months old. The time sure did fly by fast.

Her mama taught her how to say cheese.
We are getting a kick out how big she is. She is taller than most 3 year olds. She sings her ABC's and we're working on teaching her her colors. When I count to 3 because she's in trouble, she counts with me. LOL.
She gets to go see Laurie Berkner in concert on Sunday afternoon and we can't wait. She loves her some Laurie time. She loves to dance and sing all her songs. I'll be taking lots of pictures to share with you.
